Nayel stores your financial transactions, accounts, budgets, documents, contacts, reminders, personal notes, and related records locally on your device using Apple SwiftData. You maintain ownership and control of your data.
If iCloud is available and enabled on your device, Nayel may synchronize app data across your personal Apple devices using your private Apple iCloud database through CloudKit. We do not operate external third-party servers to store, inspect, sell, or analyze your financial records.
Nayel Copilot and financial summaries are designed to work on-device using Apple Intelligence where available and local deterministic engines. Your confidential financial numbers are not sold or shared with advertisers.
Nayel asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to scan receipts, attach invoice images, or add documents to your vault. Microphone access is used only for voice memos or audio descriptions that you create.
Face ID and Touch ID are handled by iOS. Nayel cannot access your biometric data. If you create a custom PIN, Nayel stores only a salted digest in the device-only Keychain, and the PIN is not synced through iCloud.
Nayel does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data. Nayel does not use third-party advertising trackers or advertising networks.
Your records remain on your device and, if iCloud sync is active, in your private iCloud account until you delete them. You can delete individual records in the app or use Settings > Database Management to remove stored categories of data. Deletions may synchronize through iCloud across your devices.
